With the SHS VIVEON Summer Academy, we give interested and ambitious students a view into the workings of a successful European consulting and software supplier. Using real life cases, you will acquire practical know-how in the topics of business intelligence and data warehousing. As part of this process, you can show what you’ve got and find out for yourself whether this field is something for you.
Our experienced management consultants and project managers will guide you through the workshop and a well-know trainer will put the finishing touch on your concluding presentation. You will be presented a participant certificate that will list the technical content of the workshop, the agenda will be rounded off by a visit to selected highlights in and around Munich where our corporate headquarters are located.
Through real life cases from a well-known energy supply company, you will become familiar with the basics of a management reporting system. Under the supervision of experienced project managers, you will draw up recommendations to present to management on concept and implementation, including:
Preparation of economic and business parameters (EBIT, ROE, ROA etc.), taking into account customer-specific price models and ratesIntegration of bookkeeping, accounting and consumption data into an ETL process in the data warehouseCalculating the figures in data marts and visualization in reportsCompilation and presentation of the most important results as a recommendation to management
While preparing the final presentation, you will be coached by a well-known presentation and rhetoric trainer.
